Privacy policy

Les Services Epsilon (“Epsilon”, “we”) takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we protect it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and applicable Canadian laws.

This policy is also available in French. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information

As required by law, the person with the highest authority at Epsilon acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question, request or complaint, write to them at info@servicesepsilon.com or call 438-808-5840.

What our website does not do

Our website is deliberately simple:

• it uses no cookies, no audience measurement tools and no targeted advertising;
• it contains no forms;
• fonts are hosted on our own server: your browser does not communicate with any third-party service when you view our pages.

Information we collect

When you contact us by email or phone, we collect the information you choose to share with us: name, organization, contact details and the content of your message.

When you apply for a job, we collect the information contained in your résumé and in your exchanges with us. If you apply through LinkedIn or another platform, that platform’s privacy policy also applies.

Technical data. As with any website, our cloud hosting provider’s servers may automatically record technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time). These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working properly, and are kept for a limited time.

Why we use this information

• to answer your questions and quote requests;
• to manage our business relationships with our clients and partners;
• to assess applications for our open positions;
• to keep our website secure and working properly.

We use your information only for these purposes, or for other purposes to which you have consented.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. It may be accessible to our service providers (website hosting, email) strictly to the extent needed to provide their services, under agreements that require them to protect its confidentiality.

Some of these providers may store information outside Quebec. When that is the case, we first assess whether the information will receive adequate protection there.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Unsuccessful applications are kept for a limited time, then securely destroyed.

Security

We take reasonable security measures, suited to the sensitivity of the information, to protect it against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use or disclosure: access restricted to those who need it, strong authentication and encrypted communications.

Your rights

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you may:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• request that it be communicated to you, or to a third party, in a structured, commonly used technological format;
• request that we stop disseminating it or de-index any hyperlink that provides access to it, where the law allows.

To exercise these rights, write to the person in charge named above. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe your information has not been handled in accordance with the law, please contact us first. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Our website contains links to third-party sites (LinkedIn, Facebook). We are not responsible for their practices; we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
